CPP to Hold Central Committee Meeting on Friday

PHNOM PENH: The Cambodia People’s Party (CPP) will hold a Central Committee Meeting on four agendas, including the election of two party Vice Presidents and a vote in support of the future Prime Ministerial candidate, on Friday morning.

The announcement of the Central Committee Meeting was made by the Spokesman of the CPP, Sok Isan.

The four agendas to be discussed during the meeting include:

1. Election of two party Vice Presidents;

2. Vote to support the candidacy of the Prime Minister of the next generation and term;

3. Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Sar Kheng, will introduce some matters related to the upcoming Commune/District Council elections;

4. Remarks to be made by Prime Minister Hun Sen, Party President, to the members of the CPP.

The Central Committee of the Cambodian People's Party currently has more than 800 members.
